Empowering Musicality in Early Years Practice

Writer's picture: Sophie FoxSophie Fox

Last week Magic Acorns teamed up with Snape Maltings to offer a day of networking, workshops and curated discussion for artists, organisations and early years educators working with 0-5 year olds.

25 practitioners from across the UK gathered to share ideas, knowledge and practice. The day was hosted by Dr. Amy Mallett and started with a presentation by Charlotte Arculus on her latest PhD research. This was followed by an experiential workshop on music mark-making and space creating, led by Sophie Fox. In the afternoon an Open Space Forum was facilitated by Dr. Amy Mallett.

Thanks to everyone who attended and made the event so rich in dialogue.
